YOUR JOURNEY
The LEJOGLE – There and Back Challenge is a unique 1,742-mile challenge that will enable you to both support mental health through Mind, and also join the invisible peloton with Marcia Roberts in her world record attempt to cover this journey by bike. The challenge takes you through England, Wales and Scotland as you travel the length of Britain.
Starting from the first day of the record-breaking attempt you can take a little longer and progress along the route by walking, running, or cycling from wherever you like, even on indoor training machines. This is perfect for continuing your fitness focus and motivation through the year.
We are being supported by British small businesses, and in turn supporting them.
To get the most from your journey use your favourite fitness app to sync each activity with the event map. You can also track your and other teams’ progress along the event pathway. See your virtual surroundings on Google Street View at the start and finish of each bout of exercise. Share your activity with friends and challenge them to join in. Complete each activity with teammates in a place and at a pace that suits you. And why not use this opportunity to up your game and cover some miles with active commuting?
SUPPORT MIND
Solent Mind is our official event charity and a minimum of £10 from your entry fee will go towards the charity. https://www.solentmind.org.uk/
Solent Mind is Hampshire’s leading mental health charity, we run a number of different projects across the region. We can support people in many different ways, including:

- Providing peer support opportunities for people to help each other
- Helping people get back into work, through our employment services
- Supporting people to take control of their own recovery
- Providing talking therapies through our iTalk project
- Supporting people’s legal rights through our Portsmouth Advocacy project
- Providing dementia support
- Campaigning on issues around mental health
In response to the coronavirus pandemic we have also launched a dedicated helpline – where people can get immediate support.
