Unlock your fitness potential and boost your mental health too by taking part of our virtual 1,400-kilometre challenge from Barcelona to the mystical Hercules Caves on the north-west coast of Morocco. This challenge goes from the 5th January through until 5th April so grab some friends and set your New Year resolution to make 2021 a healthier and happier time by exercising together.

To get the most from your journey use your favourite fitness app to sync each walk with the event map. If you prefer not to use an app there’s the option to input your distance on the website manually (full instructions supplied when you register).

You can also track your and other teams’ progress along the event pathway and even see your virtual surroundings via Google Street View at the start and finish of each bout of exercise. Why not share your activity and challenge others to join in?

There’s a £20 per person (£60 per team) entry fee for this challenge. Once signed up you may like to direct friends and family to our fundraising page. There’s no minimum requirement – all donations no matter how small are gratefully received and will assist the work of Interestelar.

Serious chronic illnesses are a reality among the general population. Invisibility of the carer’s reality only blocks a huge range of possibilities to continue evolving as a society. All of us, with our own limitations, have a lot to contribute to our community.

We are health professionals who believe in the benefits of voluntary work. We design activities where our experience and knowledge can be shared in a different way, aiming to improve mental and physical health all over the world. Our ultimate goal is to develop a new respite centre model for patients with severe chronic illnesses which includes the well-being of carers as a key factor.

Las enfermedades crónicas graves son una realidad presente en la población general. Invisibilidar la realidad del cuidador solo bloquea un enorme abanico de posibilidades para seguir evolucionando como sociedad. Todos, con nuestras propias limitaciones, tenemos mucho que aportar a nuestra Comunidad.

Somos profesionales de la salud que creemos en los beneficios del voluntariado. Diseñamos actividades donde nuestra experiencia y conocimiento se puedan compartir de forma distinta, con el objetivo de mejorar la salud mental y física en todo el mundo. Nuestro objetivo final es desarrollar un nuevo modelo de centro de respiro para pacientes con enfermedades crónicas graves que incluya el bienestar de los cuidadores como un factor clave.
